Most people just look at Die and say he can jump to another person’s death if he has their pin. Which I do think he can. But I also think it goes beyond that.
Basis of power - Only a fraction of Die’s power comes from being in The Felt/Lord English. The larger part of his abilities is the doing of black magic. (I imagine black magic would include the voodoo thing also.) Also relative to the Homestuck universe, their black magic is probably developed from the horrorterrors. Despite black magic being a strong force, it would also be quite debilitating, probably in both body and mind. I would think that it would require vast meditation to maintain. Also certain symbols would increase attributes of the dark magic, like if you made a circle around yourself and meditated with a certain symbol in the center it would either help or hurt your focus. This could be applied in many ways depending on which symbols you would choose to use in different situations. Also maybe if you could seal reservoirs of energy within the symbols you could use it within combat. I think Die would probably be more of a healer type, though. Also I suppose his wounds would heal faster.
Position in Felt - I’ll get to the point. Basically if someone died, Die would use black magic to redirect their soul back into their body after Stitch patches them up. (Unless Stitch is dead, of course) So basically revival of dead.
Time travel - Voodoo doll time travel of course. He can go to a person’s death if he has their pin. Also he can pick which timeline to leap into though, or at least try to pick. I would think it would be pretty hard to get it right every time. Creating someone’s pin requires a drop of their blood.
Age - This one’s kinda random but I still want to put it out there. Tying into black magic, I think Die is probably much older than most of the felt, going back to when, well, people used magic. He figured out a form of immortality using a certain pattern of symbols that preserved an immense amount of energy within themselves. By encasing them on his arms, in a way he became importal and un-aging, but really if the power of those symbols run out them he’d be mortal again, so it’s not permanent.
Death - If he has those symbols, he pretty much can’t die unless they A) Run out of stored energy or B) he is blown up/decapitated/imploded or other crazy shit like that. Severe wounds will result in him falling into a coma-like state until his wounds close up/he recovers.
TL;DR - Die is a magic-wielder that utilizes horrorterror language/symbols to use magic and maintain immortality in a way. And also time-travels with his voodoo doll. But we all knew that already.

WIP for the Felt cover art project. God I love die x3
Other details-
I am planning to add more horrorterror tentacles and possible a toothy thing behind Die. (They have mouthes, right?) In die’s right hand he’ll be holding a pin, and in his right hand his doll. I’m thinking of having them dripping blood. Also I need to do his hat. I’m thinking of putting a red star over the six, as horrorterrors seem to be the homestuck version of demons or something, and if I remember right that’s how demons/other bad things are represented in (some of) our cultures. Idk what I’ll do with his hands yet. Maybe I’ll give him white gloves. Also I am debating putting some sort of platform under him, whether it’s made of tentacle mass or rock. On a final note, his eyes are white because of the way Rose’s eyes turned white after aligning herself with the horrorterrors, although I think it would be better to leave his skin color green.

So
This is pretty dumb in my opinion, there are no felt people up in here! Fanbase represent!
To fix this problem, I decided to be die.
And then I did. I tried to be Die for a couple rounds and got dumped like 5 times. Die is forever alone. It’s hard being a black magic loving shut-in and no one understands.

Ahhhhh! i love fanmade god tiers. And Tavros. xD If I see you I will quite possibly spaz in my shy not so spazy way. I am very excited for this, every couple posts in the tag “#acen” there’s a homestuck post.

INTRODUCING
YET ANOTHER SCALEMATE GIVEAWAY
Yes, that’s right folks, I’m doing one of these too. Why? Because I really, really like making them and the practice is doing me a whoooole ton of good for things I want to get better at sewing to make. So, making things for other people motivates me more than just making things for myself.
What I am offering is to make a/the lucky winner(s) some custom scalemates, using the pattern that Eyes5 put up, but modified ever so slightly to compensate for characterisation bits, and the modding I did to the pattern myself to suit my own sewing style.
I’m willing to do any (ANY) character from Homestuck that is asked, or just a scalemate of specific pattern, colour or other specifications. Size of the scalemate can differ too, but please try not to ask for something too huge unless you live within Australia, cause shipping is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE to ship overseas unless it is small and light (read: unless it is the normal scalemate size, which is small and cute and infinetly cuddleable).
Now for the part you all love: RULES.
- The number of likes and reblogs are infinate, and feel free. Just know that you might annoy your followers. It will increase your chances though. IT WOULD BE REALLY COOL IF YOU REBLOGGED THOUGH CAUSE THEN I CAN SPREAD MY DISEASE EVERYWHERE.
- The submissions/raffle tickets will be cut off on MONDAY, THE 30TH OF JANUARY, BRISBANE TIME. International folks, look out for that timezone change.
